Rinse & Repeat
We’re just living the same day and moment over and over again. It’s to be present enough to recognise that every second repeats itself. History repeats itself. And I make a point of writing notes to myself in the future, from the me in the past, to remind myself that it’s just the same day again, that perhaps if I felt afraid or nervous or anything, that it turned out okay in the end and that fear wasn’t necessary. It’s like writing to your 10 year old self – just you’re writing to the body of yourself that’s a day older – in material space and time terms. And that’s called learning folks. Taking what you know from experience and acting on it with certainty in the day to come, because you know you wont lie to yourself in those letters to yourself and that you can trust yourself because it was you from just yesterday. I mean come on.
